Senior Researcher in Ecology. Her scientific activity is based on eco-morphological studies carried out on fish larvae and juveniles. Data obtained through the use of anatomical, histological, histochemical and electronic microscopy techniques are used by integrating the descriptive approach, typical of morphology, with statistical or modeling tool, characteristic of ecology. The two main research lines are the assessment of environmental effects on skeleton and trophic ecology in larval stages (through ontogenesis of sense organs) in fish.
